Diverse Habitat

The property transforms every spring into a garden of eden with beautiful wildflowers, lush grasses and an abundance of cactis,

Buffalo Ridge Ranch was originally part of a larger ranch now called StillWaters Ranch owned by a 5th generation family that was purchased in 1882.  The ranch is located at the top of the Riley Mountains in the hill country of Texas just outside the wonderful town of Llano and only 35 miles north of Fredericksburg, and 1 hour west of Austin. The ranch includes 3 year round lakes with additional seasonal water lakes.   The largest lake, Angel Lake, is 7.5 acres border by rocky ridges and is over 35 feet deep at full pool.   This lake includes a covered boat dock that automatically adjusts to the water level, a bay boat, 3 kayaks, automatic fish feeder, and a lakeside pavilion with fire pit.   You can enjoy all of the beauty of the hill county while catching the lunker bass, going for swims, or hunting dove and ducks.

There are also 3 creeks that run throughout the ranch and on average rainfall years,  2 of the creeks run year round. The 3 creeks and 3 lakes make this ranch one of the most unique properties in Llano county and the Texas Hill Country
